Roasted New Mexico Green Chile


OK, so I could not wait any longer. I picked about 6 green chiles today and built a small fire. I roasted the peppers, removed the skins and chopped them up. This is the finished product. These were given to a friend of mine and used to live in New Mexico and he said it was the best green chile he had ever had.
